The Supervisory Board of the Federal Center for Project Finance (FCPF) has resolved to appoint Dmitry Tvardovsky as FCPF’s Acting General Director.
According to Vnesheconombank’s Chairman Sergey Gorkov, the appointment is aimed at facilitating the implementation of the FCPF Development Strategy until 2022, enabling FCPF to play a more important role as an institution providing early-stage support for infrastructure and industrial projects and as a competency centre for public-private partnerships, and helping Vnesheconombank Group to achieve more synergies.
Dmitry Tvardovsky has extensive experience in PPP projects. Earlier in his career, he held executive positions with the Russian Ministry of Transport and Russian Highways.
Vyacheslav Sinyugin, who was FCPF’s Acting General Director from October 2016, will be an adviser to Vnesheconombank’s Chairman in charge of Vnesheconombank’s involvement in infrastructure lending, the Bank’s strategic project to devise new instruments of financing for social infrastructure, helping FCPF to deliver additional synergies to Vnesheconombank Group in carrying out strategic PPP projects.
