Yury Korsun as Vnesheconombank’s Deputy Chairman to Be in Charge of Syndicated Lending

The Supervisory Board of Vnesheconombank has resolved to appoint Yury Korsun as Vnesheconombank’s Deputy Chairman. In his new position, he will be mainly responsible for developing syndicated lending as a strategically important instrument of the Bank as a development institution.

Yury Korsun joined Sberbank in 2009 and was in charge of business development for corporate investment, syndicated lending, structured finance and bond portfolio management.

Yury Korsun had over ten years of previous experience of working for international and Russian financial institutions. He started his career at Citibank Russia as a customer manager. He was subsequently a corporate director responsible for energy financing at the Credit Department of ABN AMRO. Yury Korsun was in charge of structured finance at Alfa-Bank from 2007 to 2009.

Yury Korsun graduated from Leningrad State University and received an MBA from the A. B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University, New Orleans, USA.
