Vnesheconombank’s Centre of Blockchain Competencies intends to build up cooperation with the Pacific Region blockchain community. The initial agreements were signed during the Global Token Summit 220.127.116.11 conference, the 7th meeting under the rASiA project.
The Centre’s partners were Australian-headquartered Blockchain Global and Hong Kong-based Diginex. Blockchain Global, a leading player in the Pacific blockchain ecosystem. The company with five regional offices has invested over 200 million US dollars and provided know-how for dozens of blockchain projects. Diginex provides a whole range of services in distributed ledger technology and develops blockchain platforms and digital services.
The key aspects of the strategic partnership will be to organise research on a digital economy, develop educational programmes, including training in a digital economy and blockchain technology, provide training for manages and technicians and carry out joint scientific, analytical and educational activities in developing and introducing new financial technology and distributed ledger technology.
“The agreements with Chinese leaders in blockchain technology opened a new page for Russian blockchain companies. Today we have an effective model for direct and reverse technology transfer. This means that our companies can effectively offer their solutions in the Chinese market, and we will be able to use all of China’s recent advances. I believe that this cooperation will appreciably speed up the development of the Russian blockchain community and will produce high results,” Vladimir Demin, Advisor to Vnesheconombank’s Chairman and Head of Vnesheconombank’s Centre of Blockchain Competencies, commented on the agreements.
“We see that Russia plays a key role in the global space of blockchain technology. I am very surprised at the high level of the interaction between the government and technology companies. Due to this level of support, blockchain technology has great opportunities for development. We cooperate with all countries around the world to investigate the possibility of using blockchains. As a technology provider, we hope to help governments to improve internal processes and find solutions that will used for the benefit of people. We believe in the crypto community, because any project starts with a group of like-minded people, united by common goals and ideas. And when we unite enthusiasts oriented towards technology development, this allows us to communicate different opinions all over the world,” Blockchain Global’s founder and CEO Sam Lee said.
“I am very pleased to sign the partnership agreement. I see a high priority of blockchain technology in Russia. We have plans to find new partners here and understand what joint projects we can implement. We also expect to find interesting ICO projects and start-ups suitable for investment. I think that we will soon open a representative office in Moscow. It is important to continue dialogue and cooperation, because this is a global economy. The token economy is real, and we will see in five or ten years that every company will issue tokens. This is the path of development that business will follow in the near future. We believe in technology, a tokenising economy,” Digitex’s Chief Strategy Officer Adam Barker said.
