Participation in National Projects
Vnesheconombank’s top-priority line of business is, as instructed by the Government, to raise funds and help implement projects and programs of national significance.
One of such projects is to support and develop Russian agriculture. The Bank participates in the project to construct an integrated poultry factory to breed turkey and process turkey meat with the capacity of 11 thousand tons a year. The factory started to operate this July. Currently, the amount of funds to finance agricultural producers approximates to USD 300 million.
Also, one of the Bank’s main business areas is to fund projects aimed at creating an adequate social infrastructure. Medical institutions construction projects are underway in Murmansk and Smolensk, with the total value being in excess of USD 50 million.
